About Relatable

Built for the moments you don't know how to explain.

There's a particular kind of loneliness that comes not from being alone, but from feeling like no one around you could possibly understand what you're going through. You might have a full life — people who love you, a schedule that keeps you busy — and still feel completely unseen in your experience.

We built Relatable for that feeling.

"When people can relate, it's healing."

Not in the way a therapist heals, or a support group, or a self-help book. In the quiet, specific way that happens when you read something a stranger wrote and think: that's exactly it. That's exactly what I couldn't say. Someone else has been here too.

Why anonymous?

Because the most honest thing you'll ever say is usually the thing you can't say with your name attached to it. On social media, everything you post follows you — your employer can see it, your family can see it, your future self has to live with it. So people share a curated version of their pain, if they share at all.

On Relatable, you get an anonymous username and nothing else. No photo, no profile, no history. Just what you wrote. That's the whole point — the story matters, not who you are outside of it.

What makes this different

Stories, not posts. Every submission is between 100 and 500 words. Long enough to say something real. Short enough to read in one sitting.

No likes, no comments, no followers. The only response you can give to a story is "Relatable" — a quiet, private signal that someone's words landed. No public performance required.

Connection without obligation. If a story moves you enough to reach out, you can request a private chat. The other person accepts or declines. When the conversation ends, it's gone. No strings, no profile, no follow-up pressure.

Peer support, not professional help. Relatable is not therapy and we'll never pretend it is. It's a space for human connection — the kind that doesn't require credentials, just honesty.

Who it's for

Anyone who's going through something and needs to know they're not alone in it. Anyone who has a story they've been carrying and nowhere to put it down. Anyone who's ever read something and felt that small, relief-filled exhale of recognition.

You don't have to be in crisis to be here. You don't have to be okay either. You just have to be human.

Something real is coming.
