Stories of enduring
Chronic illness changes everything — your body, your plans, your sense of who you are. And it does it without warning, without an endpoint, and usually without the recognition that comes with the kind of illness people can see. The fatigue, the flares, the canceled plans, the way you have to rebuild your life around something you didn't choose — none of that is easy to explain to people who haven't lived it.
The stories here come from people navigating conditions that don't go away. Autoimmune disorders, chronic pain, invisible illness, disability that came on gradually or all at once. Not stories about being brave — stories about what it's actually like on the days when it's really hard, and the quiet ways people learn to keep going.
If chronic illness is part of your life and you've wanted somewhere to put the parts of it that are too heavy to talk about, you can write your story here anonymously. Someone who understands will find it.
